Post Jam Update!

Made for Micro Jam 45.
Theme: Miniature
Prerequisite: Gambling Addiction
Time limit: 48h

You're an Oracle in Archbishop's employ but unfortunately your gambling debts have caught up with you and now the Mayor has you compromised.

Each day, omens pop up from a miniature of Windermere. Your job is simple: open the popup, then fling it left to the Mayor or right to the Archbishop.

Every 30 days you catch your breath: review the month, collect chain bonuses, choose to repay debt… or gamble once on a slot machine. Surely, your ability to see the future should make it easy to payoff your debt.
Interest mounts, reputations decay with debt, and the only true victory is climbing out of the hole.

How to play

  • Click a popup to see the faction it concerns.

  • Fling left (Mayor) or right (Archbishop).

  • Keep both reputations above zero while debt-driven decay chips away each day.

  • At the monthly break, repay or gamble once (hold reels, spin).

  • Win by paying your debt in full. Lose if either faction hits zero.

Any feedback is very much welcome!

This game, as well as ComproGeist, do not load at all in my browser. Consider publishing a standalone executable build. I really want to see more of the Compromise Universe 😙

Hmm... Interesting...  I'll upload an executable as soon as I can! 🫠

Meanwhile, are you sure you just didn't wait long enough? For some reason, I've had it take a while to load while showing just a black screen sometimes... 😔

And of course! Thanks a lot for showing interest! 🥰

EDIT: I've added a win version, hopefully it works for you.
